Telling Tail Tales: National Adoption Month For Animals From Shelters

Molly "Ah, to be in the arms of a human! What a feeling of love and security! I am a mere youngster who was behind bars at TJ O'Connor K-9 Control because I was born and soon not wanted! I sat behind the bars of my cell simply waiting and longing to be wanted and loved! I am so affectionate, so gentle, and an absolute treasure to be loved! My new owner spotted me! Wanted me! And, has replaced my four digit K-9 control number with a beautiful new name, Molly! I know Molly suits me!"

"I am wanted, loved, and now safe! So many of my mates I left still in K-9 control at TJ O'Connor deserve and need responsible new loving homes immediately before euthanasia. I am so fortunate with my new owner I can call my very own!"

The numbers entering K-9 control are increasing. Sheer numbers dictate euthanasia occurring more than once a week at TJ O'Connor. Live responsible ownership: license, spay/neuter, leash walk, train, vet check, & life time love!

Q: If My Dog is Lost, What Should I Do?

A: Dogs can cover as much as 20 miles a day, so make sure to contact pounds and shelters in your town, and in many surrounding towns. The phone book or police in each town can give you those numbers. It's also a good idea to put up posters, notices in newspapers, on web sites, etc.
